Warm Weather Reminders

As the weather gets nicer outside, please remember to be courteous of your neighbors. And remember the following:

1) Many residents have their windows open, so please keep the noise to a reasonable level in order to not disturb others.

2) Also be advised that charcoal and gas grills are prohibited on all patios. This is a Fairfax County fire code violation and is a serious fire hazard. Only electric grills are allowed on patios. All other grills will be deemed in violation and subject to fines.

3) Patios are not to be used for storage or drying of garments. In the past few weeks items such as bikes, mattresses, tires, clothing/towels and ladders have been spotted on patios in the community. All such items are prohibited per the Founders Walk Community bylaws. All items of this nature need to be removed immediately.

 

4) Please remember that car washing and maintenance on Founders Walk grounds is prohibited. Please refrain from using the building hoses for this purpose. 

5) For the safety of all residents, the use of skateboards and scooters within the community are prohibited. This includes the community entrances and along the sidewalks, parking lots and within the buildings.

If you see a resident violating one of thee rules, please contact Jeff Turner so that he can send a violation notice.
